I can’t hide my disappointment (rightly or wrongly) over what this release could have been, so for that reason, if you’ve never seen the film before, then just wait for the standard release for a quarter of the price. There’s no indication of how long these prices will last, so act fast if anything catches your eye! DC Related Films People seem to either love or hate this film, if you are in the former camp you may want this admittedly attractive package.

0:21 - 0:22 on the freeway and the rooftop. 0:18 - 0:21 Theres been speculation that I was involved in the events that occurred. 0:12 - 0:18 Maybe Ill do us all a favour and just stick to the cards. 0:09 - 0:12 Been a while since I was up here in front of you. Why on earth would they compromise such an expensive and premium release with sub-par materials? Well I think we all know the answer to that one.įor an example of high quality and glossy booklets, look to the recent John Carpenter Studio Canal Ltd Editions (The Fog etc), they are slim but great quality. Subtitles Subtitles info Activity Edit subtitles Follow. The booklet of writing on the film is a good read, as is the production design book (exclusive to this deluxe package) but the quality of both booklets is very poor, printed on low grade school notebook paper, making the photos look very dull indeed. The visual feast is like an all you can eat buffet at a very expensive Chinese restaurant which is selling you the same cheap MSG ridden rubbish but just done really nice. (for example, by measuring site visits) so we can make improvements.

A HUGE disappointment for myself and many others. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. I understand this was beyond Arrow’s control and they tried, but I have to review this package objectively and acknowledge the missing content.Īlso missing, and a big initial selling point for me, is the new feature length documentary on the making of Dune, which was initially part of this release but omitted due to time constraints and a refusal to delay the release.
#WHY IS AQUAMAN BLURAY SO EXPENSIVE TV#
Unfortunately this is far from the definitive collectors edition, as it does not include the alternative TV version or the Spicediver fan edit (all known footage spliced together). I personally love the film, many think otherwise but it is an extraordinary production in so many ways. The 4k transfer of the original theatrical cut looks wonderful, the steelbook and packaging are excellent as well and there are some interesting extras on the discs. Especially when a far higher quality theatrical print is easily obtained. And, even though it's nice to have the dual sided poster, I still am not a fan of posters in these deluxe Steelbooks - I doubt anyone is looking at them more than once, and certainly not hanging them up on their walls. If I'm to nitpick, it would have been nice having different art on the case as what is on the Steelbook (or vice versa) - it's redundant when they share the same art. The poster was a nice surprise having an alternate landscape version on the reverse side. And the case is really nice, with the excellent theatrical poster and a nice hard stock for the case. Being it was a daredevil exclusive I was expect either a great t shirt and or a graphic novel to go into the box. Outside of that, the transfer is good and can be found on the other UHD Dune releases, as it's the same disc. The box sadly is why I am only giving this 3 stars, the box contains 2 good items a funko pop and marvel notebook, the rest is sadly lacking a mug, festival wristbands and a comic :(. It's such a shame to have blurry postcards, booklets and poster, when the source images no-doubt are far higher resolution and quality. This would be such a great Steelbook release - if not for the low quality paper and print used for all the "Deluxe" items.
